Documentary Director / PD
Sam Jones a Shooting PD with over a decade of experience in broadcast documentary and factual TV has produced, directed and filmed everything from documentaries, and TV series to his latest award-winning feature film. Now Cork-based, working throughout Ireland and abroad, his work has included many challenging environments from the freezing plains of Russia to the first unrest in Ukraine and the turbulence of the refugee crisis in Greece.
As a self-shooter and director, he has contributed to multiple channels: BBC, RTÉ, TG4, CNN, Sky, Al-Jazeera, AJ Plus, Virgin Media, France 24 Focus, and Vice News, with a full broadcast kit: Sony FX6, lighting, audio, Easyrig, Sony FX30 gimbal setup, etc.
